madi nichols Madi strode into the barn, she glanced around at the multitude of horses remaining for her, and future students. Sad selection she thought to herself. All the horses looked to be old and tired, and well trained. Madi needed a horse that was green, so she could have somewhat of a challenge while she was at this horrible school. Madi reached in the pocket of her jean short-shorts as she felt her Prada iPhone vibrate. Great it's good ol' dad to ring in the new school year with a blast of evil Madi thought. She viewed the text:
Hey kiddo! Hope you're having a good time so far! Just got home from dropping you off. I wish you well, you'll be home in no time honey!
Madi locked the phone and shoved it back into her pocket. She absolutely hated her dad's 'good wishes' texts. They were too mushy and exciting for her taste. Madi pushed her bangs out of her eyes and threw her long ponytail back over her shoulder. As she walked down the aisle a little chestnut caught her eye, he looked energetic, and jittery. Hello boy, she uttered in sweet tones, Navarro huh. Navarro was the name of the horse that she had been assigned through the acceptance letter. Well I guess I'm stuck with you, please make this a bit interesting? Navarro whinnied shrilly at that. Madi giggled, You'll do. She stuck a thin arm through the bars of his stall, he came slowly over to her awaiting hand. Madi stroked his nose a few times before pulling her hand out, See you in the ring little buddy. Madi adjusted her t-shirt from some old Rolex that she went to with her mom. Her hand reached her necklace for a moment as she remembered the woman. These were the times Madi missed her the most. Madi shook it off quickly as she headed to her dorm. She still had a ton of unpacking to do. The most important detail was trying to figure out where she would put all her clothes. You couldn't just put a thousand dollar pair of shoes just anywhere. Madi was eager to see if her roommate had arrived, she dearly hoped not. If she was alone, Madi knew she could get first dibs on a bed, and most importantly: closet space. With this simple thought Madi exited the horse world, and reentered Madi land.

The ailes looked vacat. No one else had arrived yet. Natalie walked quietly down the barn. At first she was totally startled to see someone else. Then she silently groaned. As she looked at Madi she wondered, if she was rich and that was the only reason she was here. Natalie was noly here becuase of her dad. He was amazing and her hero, he made everything possible for her. He worked extra for a year just for her to attend. Until one day everything changed. As crazy as it sounds he won the lottery, really. The mega millions won, in total 87 million. Now they were filthy rich. But her dad never that get to any of there heads. Even though mom was soo amazed he asured her they still had to spend it carefully. Natalie snapped out of her daze and faced the other girl. Natalie and so many questions to ask her, but she wasn't awble to rise up to the girls level, just not yet atleast. So instead alll she said was "So, who's your horse?" |

The petite blonde was in her own mind, dreaming of labels such as Nanette Lepore, Marc Jacobs, and Valentino. Besides her small puppy, and horses these apparel items were her babies. And her babies needed their own private space. Madi was coming up with ways to overtake a roommate's closet space if they had taken up too much. Hey, she really loved her clothes. She felt another buzz in her pocket, around the same time as a smaller girl came up to her. Madi pulled her cell out and put up her index finger to the girl, as if to say 'one sec' when she really felt like saying, 'umm why are you talking to me?' But that was just Madi and her queenliness. The blonde glanced at the iPhone, her friend Olivia back home had sent her a text:
OMG everyone misses you SO MUCH! it sucks a** that your dad sent you to the horrid place. evil much? well you know we miss you, come back soon b*tch!
Madi chuckled at her friend, who was a total pottymouth when her parents weren't around, she turned her phone horizontally and shot back a text:
miss you too babe! say heyy to all the loohzers back there for me. i'll talk to you later, some little girl wants to talk to me.... tell you how that goes. xoxo
Madi locked her phone once again and stuck it back in her pocket, she removed the smile from her features. She turned to face the younger person in front of her, Madi's Frye 'Maxine' boot hitting the ground with a light tap as she stood straighter, and more intimidating. Navarro. Madi said indifferently, not really wanting to make conversation. Why? the blonde asked sharply. Madi impatiently waited for a response, giving her a very mild death glare, she hasn't totally pissed Madi off yet right?

Natalie didn't tower over the girl like she did with modt people being 5 ft 7in. She was tall, but it wasn't all in her legs. She picked ou the annoyence in the girls vioce and chose to ignore it, for now. "Just seeing who my competion will be" Seh retorted. This wasn't how she had planned it. She was supposed to have, like she did back in Union. But that was here past and she HAD to forget it. |

Madi couldn't help but laugh hysterically at the girls comment. Competition? Pshht. There was absolutely no competition for Madi here. Especially from a little girl. There was no way that this girl could even dream of competing at the level Madi has, or win; Madi had done both. The blonde shot an intimidating look to the girl, her lips forming an unfriendly smile. Competition? You wish. Madi replied, a tone in her voice. She knew this girl couldn't beat someone who had competed at Olympic level. She shook her head and walked off smiling, purposefully bumping into the girl as she passed. Madi stopped about fifteen feet away and turne her head over her shoulder so she could see the girl out of her periphery, I won't be seeing you in the ring. Tah. Madi snapped. It was true though, Madi wouldn't be seeing the girl in any lesson of hers. Madi exited the holding barn, toward her dorm texting Olivia.

Natalie allowed a smirk to cover her face. Her mother was an olimpic silver medalist. She was taught riding from her and wither won or placed in every show so far. Natalie shrugged off the comment, since they weren't going to be competing in the same division. But later this year when Try-outs came things might Will get nasty, |
